Fichtner Service worked with the Chrysalis House Inc. and local Girl Scout Troop 913 from Edgewater to build the Butterfly Boutique. Chrysalis House is a non-profit organization which provides full treatment services to women suffering from the disease of addiction. The Butterfly Boutique was a dream of the Edgewater Girl Scout Troop who wanted to make a difference in the community. The boutique is a 1,700 sq. ft. building on the grounds of the Chrysalis House in Crownsville and is used for a resale shop to teach the residents at the treatment facility job skills so that they may become contributing members of society when they leave the program.
