Fichtner Services is not just a leader in the home improvement industry, but a leader among all businesses. We believe in giving back to our community and we have worked with a number of groups in the Annapolis area.
Chrysalis House
Fichtner Services worked with the Chrysalis House Inc. and local Girl Scout Troop 913 from Edgewater to build the Butterfly Boutique. Chrysalis House is a non-profit organization which provides full treatment services to women suffering from the disease of addiction. The Butterfly Boutique was a dream of the Edgewater Girl Scout Troop who wanted to make a difference in the community. The boutique is a 1,700 sq. ft. building on the grounds of the Chrysalis House in Crownsville and is used for a resale shop to teach the residents at the treatment facility job skills so that they may become contributing members of society when they leave the program.
Tom Fichtner generously donated labor services to install the roof for the Butterfly Boutique as well as siding and gutters. Because of this amazing project, Fichtner Services was nominated and awarded the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Gold Circle Award in the category of Service to the Community.
